Back to the Grind...

So now it is time to start my second and final semester of my Dental Assisting Program! Yay! :) I am super excited about it and can't believe that I am almost already done with school!

The first semester consisted of just the academics and slowly getting into the dental world. But now, we are actually starting to work in offices and with patients! It is kind of scary but also very interesting at the same time. Im not gonna lie, I am kinda nervous working with real patients. lol! But, this is the best and fastest way for me to learn what I will need to know for my future employment at some dental office. :)

My first office I am currently interning at is on the Rincon Indian Reservation, weird I know, but I am really enjoying myself out there! Everyone is very nice and willing to help me learn and I am learning sooo much at this office. I get to do so much here :)

Next I am going to be working on Camp Pendleton, then at an office in Encinitas and finally at Oral Surgery office in Escondido! I can't wait to try out an oral surgery office, I think it would be such an interesting career to work in an office like this.

Well as of right now, this is what my live consists of lol! ♥

First Semester DOWN!

I am SO glad that my first semester of my Dental Assisting schooling is over with! I really enjoyed this past semester, I met some great people in my classes, my teachers are fantastic and I just really like the Dental field :). It doesn't hurt that I got all As in my classes either lol. I tried to hard and did my best and I was rewarded with it.

Now its time to relax and enjoy my Christmas and New year celebrations with my family ♥

When I start school again in January, I will start interning at different Dental offices and I can't wait for that! Its just one more step closer to being finished with school and starting my new career! Yay!

*MERRY CHRISTMAS*

On December 10, 2011 my family had a Family Christmas Party up at my cousin Brent and Kristen's house. Family parties are always a must and we always try to have them so we can all get together and enjoy each others company.

We all had a Wonderful time :) We ordered pizza and had turkey meatballs, cupcakes, cookies and many other yummy foods, including sherbet punch! YUM!

Everyone had to bring a White Elephant gift, but of course I forgot to bring Michael and my gifts so we didn't get to participate. The gifts were hilarious! There was a Justin Bieber t-shirt, a sausage and nuts, crayons, a Christmas Yoda bobble-head doll and other fascinating gifts.

I love when it gets to be The Holidays because I love being able to spend time with my family. Next is our Crazy Christmas Eve Party! Can't wait! :)

December 10 was also Michael and My 8 Month Anniversary! ♥

Thanksgiving

Happy Thanksgiving!! I hope you had a wonderful turkey day :) Thankfully, today was full of family and food ♥ I am very thankful for my family and my friends and for all the many blessings that God has provided for us.

Usually we have a HUGE family get together to celebrate giving thanks, but this year we weren't able to do that. Sadly, our house had a little lice problem, so we didn't have big group of about 30 people together. Even though we didn't have a Big turnout this year, we still had a wonderful day as a family :) We ate some delicious turkey dinner, with stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans and a lot more. Finally, wonderful Dutch Apple pie for dessert!

And now is the Official beginning of the Holiday Season ♥

Time to Begin...

Hello There! :) I guess is is time that I enter into the blogging world...

So here we go!

As of right now, I am almost finished with my first semester of my Dental Assisting program at Palomar college. I am loving it! It is so interesting and I am learning so much. I just can't wait to start working in dental offices, which we are going to start doing in the Spring semester of 2012! YaY! It will be nerve wracking but it will be such a great learning experience and will help me get a feel of what it will be like to work as a Dental Assistant.
